After a successful start last year, the Youth Employment Program (YEP) is once again up and running. The program started October 14 under Coordinator James Stuckart, assisted by Becki McKee and Leah Richard, and will run through to March 20, 2009.
The program is intended for young people aged 15-30 who are facing barriers in entering the workplace. During the program participants will learn life skills which will enhance their employability, gain work experience and receive help in finding a job. Throughout the program students receive a salary of $8.40 an hour, and those who complete the program will receive a $500 bonus!
