Families Learning Together is an English

Language Learners Literacy/Integrated training program that starts

each morning with parents and children participating together in family literacy. The program

introduces families to the English Language and improves parents' oral literacy, reading, writing

and numeracy skills. While parents attend classes childcare services are available.

FREE – English as a Second Language Classes

Would you like to improve your language and/or work skills to get a job?


17 week adult program and childcare program


Adult program to focus on:

* English as a Second Language instruction

* Literacy and numeracy

* Workplace safety skills including First Aid

* Introduction to computer skills


Living allowance may be provided


Who:

Must be unemployed, underemployed, seasonally employed or face language or literacy barriers and be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident


Where:

Grassy Lake, Taber, Vauxhall, and Shaughnessy


When:

November 17, 2008 – March 26, 2009

Monday – Thursday (8:15 am – 3:15 pm)
